I have an adorable daughter she is 3 1/2 years old, she was diagnosed
with having c10q deletion of the long arm band 26.3. or. 46, xx, del
(10) (q26.3). so far she has alot of the physical characteristics of
the syndrome, the arching of her back for no appent reason, she did
this very often when she was a baby, but thankfully she no longer does
it. she has clinodactyly of the last 3 finger on both hands, her left
being the worst. although amazingly she can use her hands very well.
she has a belly button hernia, she was born with a club foot which was
not even looked at until she was 3 months old, she has psychomotor
delays, at 3 1/2 she is getting herself a good vocabulary, yet it is
still very hard for her to talk she tries with every part of her. she
was not able to walk without assistance until she was almost 3 years
old, she has a very wide and unsteady gate but moves very well. she is
the best thing that has every happened to me. She does have some
behavioural issues that I need to work on so if anyone has any tips I
would love them thanks alot for allowing me to be part of this group.
Marie.
